On 6 October, Yadviga Yerobkina, a Great Patriotic War veteran and resident of Minsk, celebrates her 101
st birthday. Representatives of public
associations and law enforcement agencies, officials from Pervomaysky District
administration, and the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic visited the
birthday celebrant to offer their congratulations and gifts. Comprehensive care
for veterans, the preservation of historical truth, and the development of
active longevity programmes remain unwavering state priorities. Today, there
are more than 660 centenarians living in Belarus.
