Celebrations dedicated to the anniversaries of the Brest Fortress and the Defense Museum were held in the town on Bug

Celebrations were held in Brest in honor of the 70^th anniversary of the Brest Fortress Defense Museum and the 55^th anniversary of the Brest Hero Fortress Memorial Complex. The event brought together people of different generations and nationalities, because the legendary citadel is a single cultural code for the heirs of the winners. The guests were presented with a thematic exposition, and a special envelope extinguishing ceremony was held. During the first nine months of this year, more than 672.000 people visited the Brest Fortress, and over 12.000 excursions were conducted. Tourists from 47 countries came to the memorial complex.
