Belarusian schools are ready for the new academic year

The education system of Belarus, all schools, gymnasiums, and lyceums are ready for the start of the new academic year. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations carried out over 4,500 supervisions at educational institutions. On September 1, over 1 million pupils will go to school, of which 115,000 are first graders. The first lesson in all schools will touch upon historical memory, the strength and unity of the Belarusian people. This academic year, special attention will be paid to the educational potential of lessons. By September 1, 4 new schools will be opened. Two in Brest region, one in Smolevichi, and one in Minsk. In total, 2901 state schools will function in the new academic year.
