Belarusian paratroopers depart for exercises in China

Belarusian paratroopers will practice counterterrorism skills alongside Chinese airborne units during the joint exercise "Swift Eagle 2026." A military IL-76 carrying Special Operations Forces personnel departed on 10 August. The route to China will pass through Novosibirsk and Vladivostok, with stops between. Estimated travel time is 23-24 hours. The strategic exercise will be held at the People's Liberation Army Airborne Forces training ground in Hubei Province and will last until 24 August.
