More than 85% of women in Belarus are employed in the country's economy. They realize themselves in various spheres: from state administration to industry, medicine and education. More than 43% are raising underage children. Belarus has developed a unique model of support for women, and it is felt to the greatest extent in motherhood and childhood. Since this year, State support for families with children has been significantly strengthened. Benefits for pregnant women have been extended and the amount of maternity capital has been increased. All this creates favorable conditions for women to successfully realize themselves. By the way, every second manager in Belarus is a representative of the fair sex. Women's initiatives are united by the public organization ''Belarusian Union of Women''. More than 180.000 women activists organize various actions and marathons all over the country.
