Belarus’ State Customs Committee presents new provisions of EAEU Customs Code

Limits on parcels, duty-free shops open for arrivals, and free economic zones with special status. Today Belarus’ State Customs Committee presented new provisions specified in the EAEU Customs Code which is due to come into force on 1 January 2018. According to the document, travelers will be able to buy duty-free goods not only before departure from but also on arrival in the Eurasian Economic Union member-states, including Belarus. Limits on international postal items will be revised as well.
