Belarus renews passenger vehicle fleet

Belarus is substantially renewing its passenger vehicle fleet. Thus, last year over 300 units of motor vehicles were purchased for public transport organizations: 254 buses, the rest — trolleybuses and electric buses. At the government level, a decision has been made to renew 10 % of the fleet annually. In the coming years, the emphasis will be placed on the development of electric transportation. In the capital region the depreciation of the fleet reached 90% in some places. The situation is radically changing. For the first time in 10 years, tourist buses were added to the fleets of Minsk region branches.
