Belarus prepares to celebrate Victory Day

All of Belarus is preparing to celebrate Victory Day on a grand scale.9 May is a special day of remembrance for Belarusians. All of Minsk's main holiday venues will be decorated for Victory Day. One of them is located near the Sports Palace. A large fair will unfold there on Victory Day and the project "Roads of Victory" will unite everyone on stage. A concert featuring Belarusian pop stars will begin at noon and will delight audiences until 11:00 PM. The headliner is Russian singer Oleg Gazmanov. The atmosphere of victory in May will permeate all of Minsk's districts. Each will have its own themed programme with interactive areas and a concert. The capital's festivities will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display. Fireworks from six sites will light up the sky above Minsk at 11:00 PM.
