Belarus is preparing amendments to the Marriage and Family Code

Strengthening the institution of the family, promoting traditional values, and regulating legislation on marital relations. These issues were discussed by members of parliament with representatives of relevant agencies and institutions at a visiting seminar at the Loshitsa Historical and Cultural Complex. Family policy is receiving increasing attention in Belarus. And as practice shows, the time has come for a comprehensive overhaul of legislation in this area. Speaker of the House of Representatives Igor Sergeyenko emphasized that proposals are already being submitted to parliament. Digitalization issues are also being actively addressed. Millions of records that preserve the histories of Belarusian families are being gradually converted to digital format.
