The contest is organized by the Belarusian Union of Women. Fourteen participants from across the country have arrived in Minsk to prepare for the final show. The women taking part in this major new initiative are highly active and engaged; they demonstrate that retirement age and the status of being a grandmother can be a time for new discoveries, creativity, and the realization of even the most ambitious ideas. The organizers noted that the primary goal of the contest is to highlight the constructive role of Belarusian women, emphasize the importance of intergenerational continuity and family traditions, and showcase the possibilities for active longevity in the country.
