Now, abandoned tractors and old cars won’t rust away in courtyards for years: Belarus has simplified the rules for disposing of ownerless vehicles. Faulty self‑propelled equipment left outside parking lots and private homes has been added to the list of non‑operational assets. Local authorities will be able to find owners more quickly through databases of insurance, technical inspections, and fines. The deadline for filing a lawsuit has been reduced from 30 to 10 days. This will make it possible to quickly clear courtyards of junk cars and simplify the work of utility services.
