Aleksandr Klobuk, Head of the Industrial Safety Supervision Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus, was elected Chairman of the Council. This decision was made at the XXIV meeting of the Interstate Council for Industrial Safety of the CIS countries in Minsk with the participation of heads of supervisory authorities in this area from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The main topics of the meeting were the introduction of digital technologies in the processes of industrial supervision. The participants summed up the work for the reporting period and assessed the implementation of the activities planned at the previous meeting in Kazan.
