Belarus and the Irkutsk region discussed the implementation of joint projects

A. Rogozhnik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia, met with I. Kobzev, Governor of Russia's Irkutsk region, in Moscow. They discussed the agreements reached during Aleksandr Lukashenko's visit to the Russian region in the summer of 2024. This concerns cooperation in aircraft construction, agriculture, construction industry, and education. They also discussed the supply of dump trucks and modernization of the streetcar fleet in Irkutsk region. The main political event of the year in Belarus — the presidential election — was also discussed. They also discussed the youth agenda, projects in the sphere of education, as well as participation of the MAZ-SPORTavto team in the Silk Road Rally in the summer of 2025.
