A banner dating back to 1939 has been officially transferred to the collection of the future National Museum of Belarus. This symbol of national resilience was discovered in Białystok during the reunification of Western and Eastern Belarus. Underground activists preserved the flag throughout the period of polonization and the Great Patriotic War. In the 1990s, it came into the possession of collector Vladimir Likhodedov. The collector also offered to supplement the National Museum's exhibition with rare sketches by Ruszczyc; these were presented at the National Academy of Sciences, where the transfer of part of the collection took place.
