An orange warning level is declared for Monday

Forecasters have issued an orange warning level for 18 May due to heavy rain, hails and squally winds. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast for many parts of Belarus. Wind gusts will reach 20 m/s in some places. Several online sources report a possible risk of tornadoes and large hail. Temperatures will be quite warm reaching 23°C and in the east of the country reaching 27 °C.
