An experiment on the use of thermochromic road markings has begun in the Minsk Oblast

Thermochromic road markings have begun to be used in Belarus. It reacts to cold weather, changes color when the temperature drops, and warns drivers about potentially dangerous sections of road where ice may form. The experiment was launched on the initiative of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Minsk Oblast. The first markings have already been applied in the Molodechno district. Another 30 icy sites have been selected for the implementation of the technology. Work will continue on other sections of the road.
