The Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War is hosting an exhibition marking the 85th anniversary of the start of the Battle of Moscow. The project was organized jointly with the Borodino Military‑Historical Museum‑Reserve. The exhibition features more than 220 items. Among them are the uniforms and equipment of soldiers and officers from 1812, engraved portraits of military leaders, paintings, graphics, and archaeological finds: fragments of ammunition, buttons, and pectoral crosses of warriors who held the defense in 1812. All the exhibits are being presented in Minsk for the first time. A special place in the exhibition is given to the natives of Belarus who defended the Borodino line.
