The results of last year's work were summed up at the meeting of the Presidium of the national organization. Volunteers visited the elderly, people with disabilities, delivered food and medicines, as well as helped in paying bills and cleaning. More than 76% of foreigners and Belarusians received help in the form of food, clothes and money. The rest benefited from psychological support and assistance in finding employment or housing. As for medical and social assistance, last year the Red Cross service provided individual home care to more than a thousand beneficiaries. In addition, there are 84 services in Belarus. For example, health centers were opened in Gomel region, a social computer room was opened in Grodno region, and a rehabilitation equipment rental center was opened in Minsk. Volunteers also provide assistance to migrants from Ukraine. Now there are more than 7000 migrants under the care of the Red Cross, including about 2000 children. In addition, Belarusians have collected almost $84 thousand to help victims of earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
