The volunteer project of the Brest Aleksandr Pushkin University "Dr. Clown brings joy to sick children" received a grant from the President of Belarus in the field of youth policy for 2026. Once a week, unusual "doctors" appear in the departments of the Brest Children's Oblast Hospital. They wear brightly colored robes, make-up, and the most important part of their appearance - a red clown nose. Students and college students undergo special training to work with patients in children's institutions. This psychological practice makes it easier for children to cope with their hospital experiences. The project's goal is to expand beyond the city and reach a wider audience. With the dedication and creativity of its participants, this goal is within reach.
