A student from BSUIR has created a robot spider with night vision capabilities

Minsk hosted a forum "Space Day" for aspiring entrepreneurs designed to support and foster student initiatives. Among the awarded was Egor Klepatsky, a second-year student at BSUIR, who created a robotic spider named Onyx. The robot is capable of seeing in the dark and navigating its surroundings. This invention could prove useful for locating people trapped in the rubble and inspecting hazardous industrial sites. The fully autonomous robot requires only a Wi-Fi connection to communicate. Although the project is still under development it already demonstrates significant practical potential.
