On 6 February, a robot-surgeon performed an operation in Minsk for the first time. The work of the unique system was supervised by Belarusian and Chinese doctors. This is a significant step in modernizing domestic medicine and a successful start for the spread of robotic systems in other medical institutions in the country. More than 200 such robots have been commissioned worldwide. In China alone, there are about 60. This is the first robotic system in Belarus.
