Public utilities rates should be transparent, objective and real. This was stated today by President Alexander Lukashenko at the meeting on housing and utility payments. The working group that has been established on the instruction of the Head of State, presented today objective evaluation of the work of housing and communal services and introduced a draft decree with new tariffs. Alexander Lukashenko emphasizes that people should see the prices of the services.The President recalls the position of the state: the solution of issues in this area should be found in internal reserves. There are many opportunities to reduce the cost of services. However, the real situation and protection of people"s interests are the main criteria in the formation of public utilities rates.
