The President outlined the priorities for the future work of the Interior Ministry. The work of all structures of the Ministry of Interior Affairs provides for the proper level of security in the country. This was stated today by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the board of the Ministry devoted to the results of 2015. The highest officials of the country, the central office of the Interior Ministry and heads of regional administrations participated in the board. Today"s discussion has shown that the Ministry of Interior Affairs needs to carry out serious work on the improvement of its activities.The internal affairs agencies should intensify their efforts to combat and prevent the spread of drug addiction, to strengthen the fight against theft, to turn the tide of crime in the countryside. According to the President, the priority should be given to the protection of children and senior citizens from criminal attacks.
