Alexander Lukashenko met with head of the international non-profit association WorldSkills International Simon Bartley. Its mission is improvement of the status of working skills and vocational training standards worldwide. Belarus joined this association in 2014. Last year, Belarus took part in the international competition of professional skills in Brazil for the first time. At the end of the championship organizers recognized Belarusians as the best debutant in the history of WorldSkills. According to Alexander Lukashenko, the development of vocational training will continue to be one of the priorities of the state policy.The second republican competition WorldSkills Belarus started in Minsk today. More than 250 people will participate in it. The contestants will show their skills in 35 nominations.
