On the eve of the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia, a reception was held in Moscow. By tradition, it was held at the Belarusian Embassy. The guests included diplomats, military attachés, well-known political and public figures. All the invitees were presented with symbolic gifts — cornflower flower framed by the flags of the two countries. According to the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia A. Rogozhnik, Belarusian-Russian integration is unrivalled. Under the strongest sanctions pressure, we have only strengthened the development of joint productions in machine building, science, medicine, IT sector, aircraft building, energy. Belarus and Russia have strong cultural ties. One of the brightest examples is the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk. Its mini format was demonstrated to all the guests of the gala evening from the stage of the cultural centre of the Embassy. A concert with participation of famous Belarusian and Russian performers took place in honour of the festive date.
