More than 4.000 people will take part in the military parade in Minsk on 9 May. These are motorized infantry, paratroopers, communication officers, cadets of the Military Academy, military faculties, cadets of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, border guards, employees of the Ministry for Emergency Situations, OMON and the Investigative Committee. Cadets of the Minsk Suvorov Military School and students of specialised cadet schools will be marching in parade formations. Military servicemen from friendly states: the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China and a number of CIS countries have also been invited to take part. More than 220 vehicles will march along Masherov Avenue in a single formation. The mechanised column will be headed by the legendary T-34 tanks. The parade will also feature the Polonez missile system, the Iskander operational-tactical system, and the S-400 Triumf long- and medium-range anti-aircraft missile systems. The air echelon will include 39 aircrafts. Television crews are also preparing for the holiday. There are 26 video cameras, some of which will be placed directly on the military equipment in the column, and quadrocopters will provide the scale of the angle.
