2024 became a record year for health resorts in Belarus

The health resort system in Belarus is experiencing a real renaissance. The year 2024 was a record year in terms of all indicators, starting from 2006, when reforms were introduced. The results are impressive. Revenue from health resort services increased by more than 24% and reached Br1.8 bln. More and more Belarusians prefer rest and recuperation at home. The number of vouchers purchased in free sale increased by 10%, which is more than 70.000. In addition, the export of medical and recreational services increased by 29% and brought in over Br402 mln. The total number of citizens who underwent health resort treatment in 2024 is 1.565 mln people. More than 807.000 Belarusians underwent recuperation and treatment at the expense of the republican budget and the state social insurance fund.
