12 new diplomats started working in Belarus. Representatives of foreign nations arrived from several continents and the day before handed their credentials to President Alexander Lukashenko. Representatives of the post-Soviet republics, Georgia, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, aim to deepen our cooperation. Contacts with Cambodia, Malaysia, Egypt, Nigeria, Cuba and Colombia have been established a long time ago but there is always room for growth. As to the European region, credentials were handed by the ambassadors of Malta, Croatia and Iceland. Cooperation with these countries ranges from contacts in tourism and business to the development of trade.
