The possibility of organizing suburban and intercity passenger transportation by electric buses is being considered. Two routes are currently under development: Minsk - Fanipol and Minsk - Smolevichi. The need for such transportation is being assessed. The start of the project will depend on the supply of certified models of electric vehicles. At the end of 2025, the government approved the state program "Transport of Belarus" for the next 5 years. Among the priorities is to improve the quality of public transport services, including the development of communications between Minsk and satellite cities.
