The international patriotic forum "Great Heritage — Common Future", which will be held in late April in Volgograd, will have an educational and ideological orientation, said Chairman of the House of Representatives Igor Sergeenko at a meeting of the organising committee for the preparation of the forum. He recalled that the idea to hold the forum was born last year in Mogilev, where a meeting of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia was held. Presidents of Belarus and Russia are expected to take part in the forum. The forum will be followed by the publication of a common statement on the goals and tasks of preserving the common history, addressed to the entire world community.
