The working meeting of the EAEU leaders was held as a video conference

A working meeting of the EAEU leaders was held in a video conference format. Its central topic was counteraction to COVID-19 and economic consequences of the pandemic. Proposals on safe transport liaison between the EAEU countries were considered. A special attention was also paid to the issues of food. The Belarusian party initiated working out of joint response mechanisms. By the results, the leaders adopted a joint declaration. The document is aimed at economic and social protection of the peoples of the member-states. The President of Belarus also invited the EAEU leaders to visit Minsk for the summit on May, 19 and assured them, that the Belarusian party would take all necessary measures for the participants' security.
