Get the maximum from the cooperation between the regions of Belarus and Russia. Such a task was set by Alexander Lukashenko. Today the President held talks with the Governor of the Kaluga Region. This Russian region is an old partner of Belarus. Against the backdrop of economic pressure, bilateral contacts are only getting stronger. The President is confident that our economies can complement each other even more effectively. Many Western companies are leaving Russia. For Belarus, this is a chance to integrate into production chains. This is a promising area of joint work against the backdrop of strengthening industrial cooperation and the introduction of import-substituting projects. The basis of bilateral cooperation is the construction sector. In the Kaluga region, Belarusians built several residential areas, as well as schools and kindergartens. There are a number of other projects in the pipeline. Belarusian agricultural machinery is also known in the region. But the potential of regional cooperation is much higher, the President noted. A mutually beneficial task is to fill our cooperation with new content.
