The task of parties is not to divide, but to unite society, especially in the face of modern challenges and threats. Alexander Lukashenko stated this at a meeting with the leaders of political parties. The President announced this meeting back in March, during his Address to the People and Parliament. Only those who have passed re-registration attended the meeting. These are three parties: the communist, liberal democratic, and the national party of labor and justice. A new one has also been registered - “Belaya Rus.” According to Alexander Lukashenko, re-registration made it possible to clear the party field of those whose activities were aimed at undermining the foundations of the constitutional system of the country. It is important that the meeting takes place on the eve of the election campaign. The President also outlined the components of success of any political party: the idea, personnel, and discipline. If those present manage to build such a system, Alexander Lukashenko is convinced that people will support them.
