Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the people of Italy
on the occasion of the national holiday
— the Day
of the Proclamation of the Italian Republic.
"Your country is known
all over the world for its
rich history,
unique cultural heritage,
talented people, the ability
to preserve its traditions
and at the same time move
forward," the message of
greetings reads. "I
am convinced that despite
the challenges
of our time and the changing
international situation, the Belarusian-Italian partnership will
gradually strengthen and
be filled with new content,"
