President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko is in favor of further integration of law enforcement agencies of the CIS countries. He made the statement at the meeting with the participants of the session of the Council of Interior Ministers of the CIS Commonwealth states. Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that law enforcement agencies face serious tasks. They are related to ensuring legality, peace, order and stability in the states, countering terrorism, fighting cybercrimes. The President reminded that the first meeting in the format of the Council of Heads of the Interior Ministry took place in February 1992 in Minsk. This time Belarus is hosting the 50th, anniversary meeting of the Council. "Such a long history of the representative forum of the heads of the Interior Ministry shows the exceptional importance of consolidating the efforts of law enforcement officers to ensure security, protect the constitutional rights and interests of citizens of all the Commonwealth states", said the President of Belarus.
