A ceremony honoring graduates of higher military educational institutions and senior officers was held today at the Palace of Independence. The head of state called this day special and solemn in the life of the country. All these people had the honor of achieving heights in their profession and career in the Year of the 80^th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. They are the guarantors of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, the shield of the Fatherland. Ensuring a peaceful and calm life today costs incredible efforts.
