The President announced the next meeting of the Belarusian People's Congress

The next session of the Belarusian People's Congress is scheduled for April. A statement to this effect was made by President of Belarus, Chairman of the Belarusian People's Congress Aleksandr Lukashenko at the session of the Presidium of the Belarusian People's Congress. The President noted that today's Presidium will give a start to preparations for this most important state event. The Belarusian People's Congress in its new constitutional status will be held for the second time, and a total of seven meetings have been held. The Constitution assigns the Belarusian People's Congress a strategic role in the comprehensive defense of the sovereignty of Belarus.
