Today the Head of the Belarusian State held talks with the First Vice President of Iran. The visit of Mohammad Mokhber is also the development of dialogue and contacts following the recent visit of the Belarusian President to Iran. Back then all issues of bilateral cooperation were agreed upon, and many agreements and memorandums were concluded. Trade has intensified. In 2022, Belarusian-Iranian trade turnover exceeded $100 million, which is three times more than in 2021. This year the dynamics are also positive. In January-August, the countries traded for $62.5 million, which is 26% higher than last year’s figures. Belarusian exports are growing every year. As the Head of the Belarusian State emphasized, all agreements reached must be implemented as soon as possible. Belarus and Iran must work more closely with each other to resist Western sanctions.
