The country's defense capability is in the focus of the President's attention

The President of Belarus visited the Obuz-Lesnovsky polygon near Baranovichi. The Russian part of the joint regional grouping of troops is stationed here. At the training ground, the President heard a report on the completion of the combat coordination of units and formations. The head of state also got acquainted with the military units of the Russian Armed Forces, talked with soldiers and officers. The decision to create a regional grouping of troops was taken by the Presidents of Belarus and Russia to protect and strengthen the borders of the Union State. The tasks of the contingent are exclusively defensive.
