State visit of President of Belarus to PRC completed

The state three-day visit of the President of Belarus to China has completed. The Belarusian Air force one left for Minsk. The visit gave a new impetus to the bilateral partnership and filled the supreme level of the Belarus-China relations with practical substance. Today in the morning, Alexander Lukashenko held a series of meetings with the leaders of big Chinese businesses. When talking to chair of the board of the CITIC Group corporation, the Belarusian head of state proposed to concentrate on several avenues of interaction. First, it is construction of the ore-dressing plant in Belarus. Erection and development of the facilities for the Belarusian national biotechnological corporation is also in the center of attention. Prospects of cooperation were also discussed at the meeting with the heads of the FAW Group – one of the oldest and biggest car producers in the Celestial Empire. Belarus is interested to develop car building with the Chinese partners participating. During the state visit, the President had an intensive program of meetings with China’s supreme leaders and big business. Almost forty contracts to the tune of $3.5 billion were concluded. Minsk and Beijing confirmed that a new partnership epoch begins.
