The President of Belarus received a report from Head of the State Security Committee KGB Ivan Tertel. Issues of the current work, the situation in the national security, as well as protection of the constitutional order were in the center of attention. As the Chairperson of the State Security Committee reported, the situation in the country is stable. Along with it, the KGB notes unprecedented pressure on Belarus from foreign partners in the form of sanctions policy. According to Ivan Tertel, the KGB observes growth of terrorist threats from the territories of contiguous states. Yet, the Head of the State Security Committee assured that the law enforcement agencies of Belarus have enough manpower and resources to react at various threats.
