Protection of Belarusian flora and fauna discussed at Palace of Independence

The President gave instructions to intensify work on the protection of flora and fauna. Today, the head of the state inspectorate delivered a report to the Head of State. Among other things, the inspectorate is to deal with the egregious facts of animal abuse. Aleksandr Lukashenko wanted to see prompt response to such things. It is also necessary to pay attention to the reproduction of the forest after cutting down. It is important to preserve nature for future generations. The participants of the meeting also discussed new methods and forms of inspectorate’s work, professional training of employees, labor discipline and eradication of corruption.
