President visits Gomel region on working trip

The President visited the Gomel region on a working trip. The official opening of a new bridge across the Pripyat took place in the Zhitkovichi district with the participation of the Head of State. This is a strategically important facility linking two important industrial towns of the region. During its construction, the shortcomings of the previous design were taken into account, the new structure was made of metal. It was the President's instruction to reconstruct the bridge by November 7. And today, Alexander Lukashenko personally attended the completion of the works. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of road-building organizations that were involved in the project. The Head of State held a warm conversation with them.
