President's working trip to Minsk region

Current state and development prospects in domestic agricultural machinery industry. These topics were in the focus of the President's attention today. In particular, grain harvesters, and hence the development strategy of the Gomselmash enterprise. 25 years ago, a fundamental decision was made to start producing domestic grain harvester in Belarus. And today we have a whole line of such world-class equipment. The line-up includes 11 models in 75 modifications. 7 more will soon be put into production. The country saves significant funds by substituting imports. There were some critical remarks too, however. Belarusian harvesters are efficient, but mismanagement in relation to equipment and harvest causes noticeable losses. The President once again called upon agricultural enterprises to enforce stricter discipline. He also emphasized the importance of increasing the degree of localization in the production of equipment.
