President’s extended meeting with the government

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held an extended meeting with the government’s top officials. Economic issues were on the agenda, e.g. expanding the functions of centers for servicing budgetary organizations, financing state theaters. The participants discussed the mechanism for merging inefficient agricultural organizations into state-owned enterprises, as well as the financial situation of the Minsk Automobile Plant.
