The President of Sudan is on an official visit to Minsk. Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks with Omar Hasan Ahmed al-Bashir at the Palace of Independence. The leaders will discuss in detail the implementation of the previous agreements reached during the visit of the President of Belarus to Khartoum in January last year, as well as further contacts at other levels. The focus is on cooperation in the areas of industrial cooperation, agriculture, energy, mining and the humanitarian field. Following the talks, it is planned to sign about two dozen documents. For Belarus, Sudan is one of the most important partners in Africa. Over the past two years, our exports to this country have grown, and the number of commodity items has almost doubled.
