President meets with Belarus’ Emergencies Minister

There is a high risk of wildfires in Belarus because of dry weather, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Emergencies Minister in the Palace of Independence. According to the head of state, the number of natural fires for 4 months of this year is almost close to the total number in 2019. And in 99% they are caused by man. To form safety culture among Belarusians, the Ministry of Emergencies has been setting up educational centers throughout the country with many of them operating in regions. There are plans to open similar centers in districts as well.
