The development of potato
farming has become one of the main topics of the President's working trip to
Mogilev Oblast. Aleksandr Lukashenko visited the largest diversified farm in
the Kirovsky district, OJSC
Rassvet named after K.P. Orlovsky. During the trip, the President drew
attention to the storage and sale of potatoes. The President warned that
significant demand for potatoes outside the country, including in neighboring
Russia, is likely to continue this year. Therefore, as the President
emphasized, the right decision was made this season to increase the area for
growing this important vegetable. Aleksandr Lukashenko focused on actively
involving retail chains in the organization of storage and subsequent sale of
potatoes
