The Presidents of Belarus and Kazakhstan are holding negotiations in Nur-Sultan today. The official part began with a meeting of the heads of state with the participation of guards of honor and a presidential orchestra. Then, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed cooperation issues. As noted by Aleksandr Lukashenko, the level of Belarusian-Kazakh relations fully corresponds to the strategic interests of the two countries. This is the result of scrupulous work over many years, which allows making serious plans for the future. A good basis for the large-scale cooperation is ensured by the similarity of the priorities of socio-economic development and the mutual desire to strengthen the real sector of the economy. Therefore, special emphasis was made on expanding the dialogue in the economy, because countries have practically no problematic issues in the areas of politics, military-technical cooperation, diplomacy, the Belarusian leader emphasized.
