Minsk and Khartoum intend to expand cooperation in various fields

At the Palace of Independence, the President of Belarus held talks with the leader of Sudan, who is on an official visit to our country. The heads of state agreed to establish a machine-building center in Sudan with Belarusian components, to build an agricultural complex for the production of meat and dairy products, and to set up a greenhouse complex using Belarusian technologies. They also talked about projects in gold mining with the involvement of Belarusian specialists. The implementation of all the agreements should begin in the near future and be fulfilled by the next visit to Khartoum of the President of Belarus. In a joint statement, the leaders agreed to strengthen the partnership. Cooperation documents were signed by a number of ministries and departments.
